I actually don't have a whole lot to report this evening...not that I ever do! Today was a busy day for me. Spent part of the morning running some errands and then I had to go by and see my favorite little boy in the whole world (and his mom and dad of course). Then I had to come home and get ready for a wedding! Now, I'll be the first to admit that weddings aren't always my favorite thing...especially Valentine's Day weddings...which is what this one was. I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day by any means! (No offense!) I went with friends from work (that's us in the picture...Gayle, Melanie, Nette-the girl hiding, Connie-mother of the bride and me) so that wasn't bad. And it was a nice wedding. I'm just not much for watching all of the love sometimes! But that's ok!
The funny part is the music they played at first. Now, I don't consider myself old at all! (The fact that I get carded for rated R movies is a sign that I don't look it either.) But I know it's been awhile since high school (no laughing please). The first song they played was "I Can Love You Like That" by All 4 One. Does anyone remember that group? If I remember correctly, they were pretty cool sometime around my 8th or 9th grade year. Talk about some memories! Not to mention, the girl who got married wasn't even in middle school yet when they were popular! It just struck me as funny. It also struck me as funny that I remembered all the words and found that I still really enjoyed the song...despite the fact that my music taste and what is popular these days is different. So I had to include the song on the site...see how many memories I brought back for people. Shanda, I know you remember the song! You had the CD! They even played some OLD stuff from...oh, what was their name? Oh yeah! N'Sync! That brought back memories of what Justin Timberlake looked like before he started bringing SexyBack!
