I know! I haven't been blogging much lately. I'm sorry! I honestly haven't had a whole lot of stories to share or anything. Kind of makes me boring, doesn it? I'm ok with that though.
I should have posted on Wed. night for Small Wonder Wednesday but I had a HUGE headache!! I even turned down hanging out to watch a movie. I didn't really have the energy to write. Plus it wasn't a big story but I'll share it with you anyway. Parts of the work day were kind of frustrating. I was trying not to let it bother me. When you work with 26 other women...well, 26 other people in general...things can get a little frustrating at some points. But my goal lately has been to not let these things completely ruin my day. I was doing ok...so I thought. The director and I had to leave for a little bit to go get our schoolagers from their field trip. While we were gone, I got a text saying "I left cookies outside your door." "Cookies." "Yep, lemon cookies." LEMON COOKIES!?! I love lemon cookies!!! It's one of my favorite snacks at work!!!!! I asked why she left them outside of my door. Her answer: "I knew you needed them. They make you happy." I can't say the day got any less frustrating...but the lemon cookies did make me happy! And honestly, it wasn't the cookies. It was the fact that my friend could just tell I wasn't having the greatest day and wanted to see me happy. Again, it's those little things that usually mean the most...the small notes in the mail, the email just saying hi, the note on your facebook wall saying I've missed you...It really lets you know that someone is thinking about you and cares about you. It's a God-thing really. God knows what you need and when you need it. And then someone else hears Him and He touches your heart through someone else. I love doing those kinds of things for others...but I must admit that it means a lot when someone else does that for me as well.
I've got to share this picture!!! Tera and I helped out a coworker on Sat. evening and spent some time with this coworkers little girl. She's so cute! We took her to the park, the pet store and then out to dinner. I took a ton of pictures...of course!! But this one was our favorite.

I'm one of those people that just snaps pictures. I'm not waiting for that "perfect" picture moment. I just snap them and I love this one!!! We gave her mom a bunch of the pics I took the other day along with this one in a 5x7 and she cried. She was so happy!!! That made my day!
OK. I need to get ready for work. I could just sit here on my couch all day but that's not an option!
