Missed me?????

I know.  I've kind of been missing from here lately.  Fall session starts at work on Mon. which meant this was the week to get everything changed over...last minute changes of course...and then my procrastination!  I work better under pressure!  :-)  So it was VERY busy week at work.  I'm drained.  Completely.  I'm glad today is a gloomy day.  Makes it easier to just lay around. 

OH MY GOSH!!!!  I am in love.  No, I won't be getting married any time soon.  Prince Charming still hasn't come along.  But how on earth have I survived without a droid phone before????  I got the new LG Ally.  OH MY GOODNESS!!!  I'm in love with this thing!!!  All of the things it can do...the fun applications...how much fun it makes text messages...I love everything about it!!!  I just got it last night and I've been playing on it constantly.  I even downloaded the Bible onto it!!!  No excuses for not reading that now!  The phone finishes my thoughts!!!  Yes, I have a best friend for that but now I have a phone that does it too!  If you like phones, you like new technology and you like to be able to play around on a phone, get some type of droid technology phone.  I don't think I'll ever go back to another phone!!  But this is me.  You never know what I might do! 

Why did I get a new phone you ask??  It's kind of an early birthday gift to myself.  And like I said, it was a long week.  A week that truly tested my patience.  It was really just the work day itself that tested me.  My evenings were actually pretty good.  I helped my mom on Tues with her new tv!  That was entertaining!  But fun.  And she was soooooooooooo happy!  I can only imagine how much football she's already had to endure on that new tv though.  Wed. Tera and I went to see Vampires Suck.  Now, I LOVE the Twilight trilogy so I debated on this movie but it looked funny.  And it was!!!  We laughed so much!!!  Go see it!!  Thurs. didn't quite go like I had hoped.  Keep one of our co-workers in your prayers.  Her little girl who just turned 1 on the 10th is in the hospital.  They did a spinal tap on her Thurs. night.  Ugh.  So I spent a few hours at the hospital with her and her mom.  And well, last night was early-birthday-present-to-me night!  And that's about all I had the energy for. 

Today is gloomy here.  That kind of stinks cause it's fair time!!!  But I wasn't planning to go today anyway.  So the gloominess doesn't bother me.  The plan is to watch some tv.  Learn more about this awesome phone!  And scrapbook!  I got all the rest of my boss' little girls pictures.  I don't know if I have enough paper but I'm definitely going to get some of it done.  Oh!!  And I PLAN to blog tonight.  Today marks an anniversary...if that's what it's called.  Anyway...you'll hear more about that boring stuff this evening!

New year, new me. Who says that? Ok, a lot of people so no offense if you’re one of them.  But I like me. Sure, I’m not perfect. Lots of Names

Well, this is my fourth Friday in my apartment!!! It really does feel like home for the most part!!! Tera helped me...wait...I take that back. Tera MOVED my swing and table from mom and dad's a few weeks ago and so that is now on my deck! I love it!! Although, I have to admit that I haven't been home too much to enjoy it but at least I know it's there. Hopefully I'll get the chance to relax on my swing this weekend. I set my smoke alarm off the other night! That was funny! I was cooking a chicken patty and some fries in the oven. All of a sudden I hear this loud beeping! Of course once I realized it was the smoke alarm, I ran into the kitchen. Everything was good in there! Food was cooking just fine! Apparently it just got too hot in here for the smoke alarm. The funny part though is me standing on the chair trying to figure out why the alarm won't quit chirping every 45 seconds...even after I took out the battery!
