I mentioned last week that I've been in my apartment now for a year. And my plan was to post pictures of how things had changed inside since I've moved in...I didn't get a chance to do that. So here's the pics...of a year ago and today!
Ha ha! So here's the small tv and little entertainment center...that I LOVED!!! That has since moved into my bedroom and has been replaced by this...
Can't wait to watch the Buckeye football games this season!
I love the fireplace here. It's definitely one of the reasons I fell in love with this apartment. I kept it simple. I was mostly excited about decorating it at Christmas!
I ended up moving both chairs in here because I've added furniture to the apartment.

The bathroom hasn't changed too much. For football season, it's OSU. I have Christmas stuff during the holidays. Then it's like blue and purple for the rest of the year. This pic was taken a year ago.

My bedroom has always been...and will always be one of my favorite places to be. I wanted it to be relaxing. And of course, Byron (my teddy bear) had to be there!
I had to have the chair! It was given to me and I didn't need it in the livingroom. So it was perfect in the bedroom...where I could relax and read or write.
The bed has since changed! I fell in LOVE with this bed at IKEA!! The room is still mainly blue and brown but I loved this comforter too. It had blue and brown along with purple!!!
And I treated myself to this AWESOME recliner with my tax refund. Oh, this chair is AMAZING!! Perfect for reading or just curling up. (excuse the floor...I didn't vacuum before taking the pic)
The only pics I haven't included are of the kitchen and that's because the kitchen needs cleaned! And I didn't feel like doing that tonight. But I will and then post the before and after pics. Not much has changed but a little has so I want to share that with you. And I don't think I've ever posted pics of the extra room...and that's because it's usually not the cleanest because of scrapbooking stuff. But I may go ahead and take a few pics so you can see that as well.
My friend Karen asked me last week what has changed about me over the last year since I've been in this apartment. And I've been thinking about that a lot actually. At first I thought nothing. And I'm still not sure the apartment has caused a lot of changes in me...but I think there were a few. I think mainly the apartment gave me the opportunity to react differently to things...but I think I'll save that for another post!
