OK...I realize I'm behind...very behind. So let me figure this all out real quick in my head. OK. It's Saturday morning. It's not going to happen quick so be glad you're only reading this and not stuck beside me while I try to figure it out! (Oh, stop laughing!) I started this on...the 23rd. So I should be doing day 8 today if I just did it everyday. But because I was behind the girl who originally posted it, I wanted to do several each day. I wanted to be able to catch up. Katie is on Day 20 today. I'd like to be on Day 20. But that means I need to do 11 posts...today!!!!! Or in order to be on Day 21 tomorrow I need to do 6 today and 6 tomorrow...which seems more likely, don't you think???
Day 10: Something I'm Afraid Of
SPIDERS!!!!!!!! Yuck! They've got 8 little legs. Some can be hairy. Little. Big. JUST GROSS!! If there's one in the house and someone else is around, they have to kill it for me. Pretty simple. If I'm here alone, I have to kill it. It just freaks me out. But I can't leave it. Cause then I have no idea where it goes throughout the house and it could sneak up on me. That is NOT ok.
I'm also afraid of fire. I used to not even like my mom to burn candles in the house. She does now and has been for years. And I burn candles in my house as well. But still. My biggest fear is dying in a fire. I don't want to be morbid but the thought of burning to death...the pain and agony. I can't even imagine. And I don't ever want to experience.
Day 11: Favorite TV Shows
I used to not even watch TV...then I went to college! And in order to avoid homework, I'd watch tv! My favorite TV show of all time is Dawson's Creek. And I have all 6 seasons on DVD. Maybe I'll watch some of those today. I love Ghost Hunters. I'm excited about their Halloween special tomorrow night. Glee!!! That show just makes me happy!! There are shows I just watch out of habit now. There's Vampire Diaries. Grey's Anatomy. Law & Order: SVU. I love all of them. But they're just kind of a habit now. I can miss them. But if I'm near the TV, I don't.
Day 12: What I Believe
What I believe is pretty simple...I believe God is my savior. I believe that with Him, I can do all things. I believe He died for me and you. And I believe He's coming back soon.
I believe even on the rough days there are people in my life who support me and who want to hear how I'm feeling.
I believe that today is a gift. Tomorrow is an even bigger one.
I believe the children (and teenagers) in my life are a reminder of God's amazing work.
Day 13: Goals
Wow. I don't know. That's being honest. I'm not really a long-term goal type of girl. I think things through day to day. Like over the next two weeks my goal is to make sure I get all of the payments listed into our program at work. Over the next two weeks I also plan to decide how I plan to decorate for our Christmas program at work. The goal there is to not be stressed out about it. My goal before January 1 is to learn the new programs we're getting at work and write out a small "tutorial" for it so I can teach it to my boss and one other co-worker.
I used to have the goal of being a wife and mother. I'm not saying I've given up on that. But I am 32. It's one of those things that if it happens, it happens. If not, then God had other plans for me. Oh!!! I plan to finish reading the books I'm currently trying to read. (That probably means I need to quit blogging to do some reading.)
The only long term goal I can think of is being the best person I can be. I'm going to screw up. I make mistakes. I say dumb things. I know all of that. But I try on a daily basis to be the best person I can be.
Day 14: A Picture I Love
This is probably one of my favorite pictures of my Stella Bella. Adorable. Carefree. Beautiful. I love this child!!!
Day 15: Bible Verse
This is my favorite Bible verse. I know it's a popular one for most people but this is a great promise to hold on to.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

Meanwhile, don't even get me started on ghosts. There is no way I could watch Ghosthunters and sleep at night. I do believe my house is inhabited by several ethereal beings so I think that adds to my freaking out. So I just don't watch those shows.
