Hard Decisions

Man, I know...it's been a LONG time since I've blogged. But it's also been a LONG month. I'm not even sure where to begin...or if I should. I'll say this. I made a decision a few days ago that's led to peace for me. But I know it may disappoint others. And that's what made it so hard. But I had to do. I know it's what the Lord wanted of me. And I'm content with that. That's really probably all I should say for now. Just keep that in your prayers!

But on a much happier note, I'M GOING TO FLORIDA IN APRIL!! WOO HOO! I'm sure I've mentioned before that I babysit for this little girl named Stella. I had her in the nursery at my daycare which is how I met her mom and dad. Well, I babysit usually a few times a month for Stella. She's absolutely adorable! Here's a picture of her! (When I got my new camera, I took like 70 some pictures of her one night!)



Anyway...her parents are so good to me! And I definitely consider them friends. Well, Stella's mom came into the day care to visit her...maybe 3 weeks ago. (Stella is no longer in the nursery. She's downstairs now.) I happened to be headed downstairs to do something for my boss when I ran into Stacy (Stella's mom). She says, "Hey, just the person I wanted to see." So we walked together and she says, "So what are you doing in April?" After I joked with her, she informed me that her and Todd (her husband) wanted me to go with them and Stella to Florida in April for 9 days!!!!!!!!! I stood there with my mouth open at first! What do you say to that??? I eventually said yes!! I did have to do some thinking. I'll be missing Kale's first birthday. And that was hard. But I'm looking forward to leaving ALL OF THIS CRAZY SNOW!!! It will be a nice, relaxing vacation!!!

New year, new me. Who says that? Ok, a lot of people so no offense if you’re one of them.  But I like me. Sure, I’m not perfect. Lots of Names

Well, this is my fourth Friday in my apartment!!! It really does feel like home for the most part!!! Tera helped me...wait...I take that back. Tera MOVED my swing and table from mom and dad's a few weeks ago and so that is now on my deck! I love it!! Although, I have to admit that I haven't been home too much to enjoy it but at least I know it's there. Hopefully I'll get the chance to relax on my swing this weekend. I set my smoke alarm off the other night! That was funny! I was cooking a chicken patty and some fries in the oven. All of a sudden I hear this loud beeping! Of course once I realized it was the smoke alarm, I ran into the kitchen. Everything was good in there! Food was cooking just fine! Apparently it just got too hot in here for the smoke alarm. The funny part though is me standing on the chair trying to figure out why the alarm won't quit chirping every 45 seconds...even after I took out the battery!
