I Am in Love...

I am in love...truly, madly, deeply...I don't know what else to say!!  I have to say it was love at first sight.  I just knew it was meant to be...

My first Erin Condren Life Planner
(Sorry, the picture kept flipping every time I tried posting it.  I decided to just give in and let it be.)

Yep.  I am in love with my Erin Condren Life Planner.  Call me a nerd.  I'm ok with that.  I love all things related to pen and paper.  So when a fellow Thirty-One team member posted a picture of the cover of her Erin Condren Life Planner, I had to look it up to see what it was all about.  At first, I have to say that the thought of spending $50+ on a planner was ridiculous.  Oh, I loved it but that's a lot of money.  (What can I say, I have good taste!)  You can get the cheap ones at Walmart or wherever.  But then I opened up my cheap one and saw how no matter what I did, it just didn't do what I needed it to.  So I went back to the site to look again.  I also looked on Pinterest, YouTube and some blogs of people who had the planner and I fell in love even more.  So I took the dive.  I sat there and ordered my first planner.  I thought if nothing else, it will be sturdy and last my 18 months.  Then after that, I can go back to my cheap ones.  I was so excited about this planner that I even had a countdown for it on my phone (right beside the countdown for my birthday).  And the best part was that this was supposed to be delivered right before my birthday!  Happy birthday to me!!!

Waiting was agonizing.  I checked the status of my planner everyday.  That is not an exaggeration in the least.  It was everyday.  Sometimes several times a day.  I ordered it in August (around the 25th I think) and it wasn't due to ship out until the 19th.  Then just a few days before its' delivery, I went out to get some washi tape and new pens and some stickers.  I was ready!!!  And then it arrived!  (Well, technically I arrived at FedEx to pick it up!  But that's a whole different story.) HEAVEN IN A BOX!!!

This box made me so happy!!!  I got just excited about this box as I do new Thirty-One products and electronics!  I was probably just as excited about this box as I was my MacBook when I got that.  (How pathetic is that?  Ha ha!)  And as everyone stated, Erin Condren puts plenty of goodies in the box.  There are a few extras that I bought but there were cute little stickers along with name tags for gifts and books.  I couldn't stop staring at it all.

I just put a little post it note in the beginning of my book so I could remember how I was color coordinating things.  (Again,t the picture decided it didn't want to flip.)

And while I was waiting for this little slice of Heaven, I went ahead and ordered an On the Go Notebook as well.  I knew I was going to love these products.  I had no doubt.  And I wanted something sturdy for my journal/Bible study notes.  And I think I was instantly in love with that notebook too!

Here's my On the Go Notebook (that of course didn't want to load the right way).  I just love the colors on this notebook!

It comes with this calendar.  I don't really have a need for this calendar since I have the Life Planner so I'm giving it to a friend to use.  

I also just ordered a new cover for my Life Planner (and/or On the Go Notebook since they're interchangeable).  Don't worry: I will show you how it looks once it gets here!  I also just ordered an address book!  I just couldn't resist!  I had two coupons that I needed to use as well.  I didn't want them to go to waste!

The quality of these products is just awesome.   The covers are in a thick laminate.  You won't be able to tear them for sure.  I suppose you could take some scissors to them but it would be hard to cut (and so sad).  The coil is a very thick, strong coil.  It's not like the coils on the notebooks you get at the store for a few dollars.  This coil won't be unraveling and snagging onto things.  The tabs for the months are laminated.  The colors on the pages are adorable.  And did I mention the covers come off? I love it!  You just pull them off and replace them with a different cover!  And they're so easy to put back on!!!  They also come with a ruler that you can move around as well.  It's pretty thick and sturdy itself.  OH!  And the stickers are repositionable (is that a word).  So if you don't get something done on that day, you can just move the sticker without messing up your notebook or wasting a sticker.  Honestly, I can't think of one thing that I didn't like about it.  Maybe the price but when you get one, you understand why the cost.  The wait time was tough but that was just because I'm impatient.  When you're having something made, you don't want it to be rushed.  I do have to say though that the wait time is faster now.  I originally ordered my first one I think August 25 and my estimated ship date was September 19th.  I ordered my new cover and my address book on Mon. Sept 29 and the estimated ship date is October 9 (which is only 8 days away...WOO HOO).  But again, I'm good with the wait time.  I'm actually not checking the status of my order everyday (I skipped yesterday but did look today...hee, hee).  Quality products take time.  And the products that Erin Condren makes are EXCELLENT products.  She makes a bunch of other stuff too.  The Teacher Planners look awesome!  If I was still in a classroom, I imagine that would have been something I would have bought as well.  They even have Student Planners.  I almost bought that instead of the On the Go Notebook.  There's file folders, calendars and notepads just to name a few.  If nothing else, go check it out.  Use this link and you'll get $10 off of your first order!  https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/deidralambert0920
